Landscape dump truck and work truck financing

A landscape dump body on a medium-duty chassis can replace a truck-and-trailer combo on many jobs. Trucks are financed a little differently from machines.

Landscape trucks include 1-ton and medium-duty chassis with landscape dump bodies, stake bodies, and crew cabs. Because they are titled road vehicles, lenders look at the VIN, mileage, and title, and usually require auto liability insurance.

If the body is built by an upfitter separate from the chassis dealer, there may be two invoices. Lenders want to see both before anything is funded.
