Draft — owner and legal review required before live bank collection. Updated October 27, 2026.
What we collect
- Business and contact details you type in: business name, your name, email, phone, state.
- Equipment plans: type, new or used, price, down payment, timing, seller type.
- Optional ranges: annual revenue range and a self-reported credit range.
- How you found us: campaign tags (UTM), the page you landed on, and the referring site.
- Your communication consent, the exact words you agreed to, and when.
What we do not collect
Public forms do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank details, government ID, tax returns or other financial files. We do not run credit checks. Never send bank passwords or sensitive files through our public forms or email.
Optional bank verification through Plaid
Live bank collection is not enabled. Sandbox uses fake test-bank data. If live access is approved later, a linked borrower must complete two-step sign-in and give recorded consent before using Plaid Link. Bank sign-in happens with Plaid or your bank; we do not receive your bank password.
For accounts you choose, Plaid may provide account names, account type, the last four digits when available, balances, up to 24 months of transactions, and account-owner information or a name-match result. We use that data to compare your stated revenue with bank evidence and prepare an equipment-financing broker review. This is not a credit report, loan approval, or promise of funding. We do not move money.
Plaid processes information under its own terms and End User Privacy Policy. Banks may provide different amounts of history, and records or name matches may be incomplete. You may ask us to correct a record.
Private financial documents
The private portal accepts requested equipment photos, seller quotes and other allowed files. Government ID, tax returns and bank statements remain locked pending security and legal review. These are not universal requirements. If approved later, only requested files should be uploaded in the private portal, never by public form or email. Uploaded files have file-type checks but are not currently virus-scanned.
How we use it
To contact you about equipment financing if an appropriate program becomes available, to improve our guides, and to prevent spam and fraud. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with lenders today. In the future, we will only share it with a lender after you give separate, specific permission.
There are no contracted lender partners today. Lender data sharing stays locked. Any future release needs your consent naming that lender, a verified lender and agreement, and a secure approved release. Dealers do not receive your bank data or private files.
Service providers help with hosting, private storage, authentication, Plaid bank verification and communications. They may process data for those services. The owner must finish the provider and legal review before production bank use. We may disclose records when required by law or to protect against fraud, subject to applicable law.
On your device
The fit-screen may save planning answers in your browser so you can resume. Signing in stores a session on your device. Plaid bank sign-in returns may temporarily keep a Link session token in session storage. Use a trusted device and sign out when finished.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion in Manage My Data, or use our contact page if you cannot sign in. We check identity before releasing or deleting records. Rights vary by state and applicable law; requesting them will not reduce your service. Inquiry details alone are not marketing consent. You can ask us to stop marketing messages.
Revocation and retention
Use Revoke All Access in bank verification to stop further bank refreshes and withdraw consent. We also request removal of the bank link from Plaid. If that service fails, removal needs a retry; local request revocation blocks refresh. Disconnecting or revoking does not erase data or reports already saved.
Deletion requests go to the owner for review. Records needed for a legal hold, fraud investigation, dispute or required record retention may be kept with restricted access. Exact retention periods and deletion deadlines are not yet approved, and automatic data deletion is not running. Those gaps must be closed before live bank collection. Backup removal timing depends on the hosting provider and also needs review.
Security
Private records use ownership and role checks. Team access requires two-step sign-in. Plaid access tokens are encrypted before storage and are not sent to your browser. Document links are short-lived and files are held in private storage. No system can promise perfect security. Bank data itself is not separately encrypted by the app at the field level; hosting encryption and backup controls require provider evidence before production.
Policy changes and responsible operator
Landscape Equipment Finance HQ is a working brand, not a claim of a registered legal entity or license. The owner must supply the responsible legal entity and contact details before launch. Material changes will be posted here; a broader bank-data purpose requires new consent. Use the contact page for privacy concerns.
